"Art in the Forest"

Connections Fibre Artists  is pleased to present "Art in the Forest" - a unique fibre art installation at the Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve.

"Art in the Forest" is a semi-permanent installation, which will remain in the forest until the end of the year 2022, unless weather or nature decide otherwise. Found along the Wild Woods Walk (follow signs that say WWW), this exhibition is a compelling collection of fibre pieces that are experienced as you hike along the trail.

This was an exciting challenge for the Connections members - to hang art works in a forest, without harming any trees or branches -  a big change from typically installing art work on a flat gallery wall with a single nail.
