Connections Fibre Artists is dedicated to the exploration of fibre – cloth, thread, paper and mixed media, as an art form. Established in 1999, members come from diverse creative backgrounds, and are connected by this common thread. Artists work together to raise the awareness of fibre art, and to develop their talents by exchanging ideas and sharing new skills and techniques. Members teach, give lectures, exhibit independently and show internationally. Several are published. Membership is by invitation.
