Artist's
Statement
Tracey is
an award-winning textile artist, quilter, longarmer, and
embroiderer. She has combined her love of traditional
needlework techniques with free-motion longarm machine
stitching to create richly textured dimensional still life
and densely stitched landscapes which are sold through art
galleries. Her work has been exhibited at national and
international level shows, including Fibreworks,
Threadworks, National Juried Show, Grand National Quilt
Show and World Quilt Competition. She is a member of
Connections Fibre Artists, the International Association
of Professional Quilters, Canadian Quilters Association,
the Toronto Guild of Stitchery, York Heritage Quilters
Guild and the Ontario Crafts Council. She is a CQA/ACC
Apprentice Quilt Judge working toward full certification. |
