Artist's
Statement
My art is a
catharsis to strong emotional response. Mischief, sadness,
joy, grief, et cetera can all act as triggers to
inspiration in conjunction with a theme. Working with
fibre enhances and intensifies the intimacy of the
experience. Texture and dimension are also an important
part of my work. I delight in making things that reflect
the world as I see it.
I am
currently an on-line student working with Sian Martin on
my City & Guilds Certificate in Stitched Textiles.
